As a composer, Robert is responsible for the music heard across many national advertising campaigns. These include Nationwide, Verizon, Nike, Google, Chevy, Audi, Hulu, The New York Times, Cadillac, Progressive, Mazda, Target, Samsonite, Chevy, Exxon, Tropicana, Dunkin Donuts, UPS, Walgreens, Hasbro, Dairy Queen, Novant, AT&T, and Macy's. Additionally, Robert has released 3 albums under his own name.

Most recently, he can also be heard playing the drums on the 2018 Grammy Nominated Album, Lo Unico Constante by Alex Cuba.  Additionally, he performed on the 2017 Latin Grammy winning album Healer, also by Alex Cuba.  Other recording and performing credits include Norah Jones, Josh Rouse, Jesse Harris, Elysian Fields, Falu, Escort, Ursa Minor, Smokey Hormel, Joshua Radin, La Mar Enfortuna, Gustafer Yellowgold, Ollabelle, Priscilla Ahn, Vanessa Carlton, and Kasey Chambers.   Television and Film appearances include The CBS Late Show, The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien, The View, The Today Show, The Early Show, Live from Abbey Road, and the Seth Macfarlane movie, TED

Lastly, he is also responsible for both inventing and writing the patent for the commercially available “Wingnut Drum Key”.
